Team Nicole Hollis presented Londubh with the room's confirmed elements, an inspiration image of a space with a similarly toned blue ceiling achieving a desired look and feel, along with a handful of earlier concepts that had been set aside. Londubh began with a run of matte paint tones, testing shade after shade, but each read slightly at odds with the intricacy the space had built into its bones. What ultimately resolved it was a simple strié, a base and set of lines tonally customised for this bathroom alone, then finessed once more on site in the hours before installation to ensure it answered every detail in place.
