Frequently Asked Questions

At Londubh, every piece we create is an extension of our artistry — custom made for your project, crafted with care, and infused with meaning. Below you’ll find answers to our most common questions, from ordering and lead times to working with us on bespoke designs.

Londubh Studio is a Los Angeles–based multidisciplinary design studio specializing in hand-crafted wallcoverings, murals, surface design, textiles, tiles, and one-of-a-kind interiors. Founded by Lisa Donohoe and Brynn Gelbard, our work is known for its maximalist spirit, modern glamour, and meticulous craftsmanship.

In addition to our creative expertise, Londubh Studio holds a California C-33 Specialty Painting and Decorating Contractor License, enabling us to execute projects with both artistic vision and licensed professional precision.

Each Londubh Studio commission is made to order and tailored to your project’s exact scale and specifications. Our work spans digitally printed wallcoverings, custom wallpaper murals, tiles and tile murals, textiles, hand-applied murals, and decorative art on surfaces from floors to ceilings to bathtubs and beyond. Whether the project is a single statement wall or a large-scale installation, we follow a meticulous process to ensure every finished work retains the integrity, vibrancy, and emotional resonance envisioned in our Los Angeles
studio.

Each Londubh Studio piece is made to order and crafted specifically for your project’s
scale and specifications. Whether it's a hand-painted mural, digitally printed wallpaper, or large-scale surface design, our process ensures that every wallcovering, art
installation, or decorative surface maintains the integrity, vibrancy, and emotional impact
envisioned in our studio.

Because each Londubh Studio product and custom artwork is made to order, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges. If you believe your order has a defect, please contact us immediately — and no later than three (3) days after delivery — so we can review and address the issue. Do not install any product with visible defects, as installation constitutes acceptance. Once any product or artwork has been installed, Londubh Studio cannot be held responsible.

Lead times for wallcoverings vary based on the product type and the scale of your project. Custom-printed wallcoverings typically ship within three to four weeks after final artwork approval and full payment. Larger installations, specialty materials, or bespoke printed mural designs may require additional production time. A detailed timeline will be provided and confirmed before your order moves into production.

We strongly recommend consulting a professional wallcovering installer to take precise measurements before placing your order. Your installer can account for pattern repeat, installation method, and architectural features that may affect the total quantity required. This step is especially important for designs printed on metallic Mylar grounds, which require special care and may call for surface preparation such as a skim coat to minimize texture visibility.

We’re happy to assist with any questions and can provide detailed product specifications
for your installer. Please note that Londubh Studio is not responsible for incorrect
quantities ordered.

For all product orders, 100% payment is required up front before production begins. For commissioned design services, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon signing your agreement, with the remaining 50% due upon completion and final approval of the work. If you choose to pay for commissioned hand-applied work by credit card, 100% payment is required up front before services commence.
