Founded by artists Lisa Donohoe and Brynn Gelbard, Londubh Studio is devoted to the interplay of pattern, color, surface, symbolism, story, and place. The studio creates custom art, site-specific installations, and hand-applied finishes using paints, glazes, metal leaf, and plasters. Every piece begins as original artwork. Some become wallcoverings, textiles, and objects. Others take shape directly on walls, floors, ceilings, doors, pool tables, decks, tubs, diving boards, and whatever holds still long enough to be transformed. The work lives where obsessive craftsmanship meets unruly joy, coaxing architecture into the interdimensional. Londubh offers something beyond decoration: a way to conduct atmosphere and awaken awe, resulting in spaces that feel deeply resonant, wildly layered, and unmistakably alive.

Our work, which spans walls, floors, ceilings, façades, and more, blends fine art, storytelling, and materiality to transform built environments into immersive visual experiences. Wallcoverings
More than wallpaper, Londubh Studio’s wallcoverings offer a way to live with our work on an architectural scale. Digitally composed from our original artwork, each design carries the same atmosphere, pattern, and artistic intention that shape our murals and surface work. Samples are available to purchase online, and full orders may be placed directly through the studio, with quotes provided for each project. For an additional fee, designs may be customized in scale, color, and ground.

CANDLES
Londubh’s inaugural candle collection was designed in our Los Angeles studio and produced by an artisan, family-owned business in Austin, Texas. Crafted in small batches from pure North American soy wax and set with lead-free cotton double wicks, they burn with exceptional clarity, evenness, and longevity. Free of phthalates, parabens, and paraffin, and featuring three of our most popular graphic patterns, each piece is a collectible statement, meticulously calibrated to elevate the everyday into the extraordinary.

Who We Are
Londubh Studio is the creative partnership of Lisa Donohoe and Brynn Gelbard, artists, collaborators, and longtime partners in both life and design. Their practice is born from a deep love of surface, story, and the ancient human impulse to adorn, shaped by backgrounds spanning fine art, film, and interiors, and fueled by a shared history of adventure, revelry, hilarity, and insatiable curiosity.
Working intuitively and drawing on over two decades of experience, Lisa and Brynn approach each project as a living dialogue with the space, with the material, with each other, and with the centuries-old lineage of artisans whose creations continue to inspire their own.
Their aesthetic leans maximal, layered, and intentional. Every piece, whether architectural, sculptural, or printed, is designed in-house and executed with extraordinary care. The result is a body of work that is both visually rich and emotionally resonant.
For Lisa and Brynn, Londubh is not just a studio. It is a devotion, a partnership, and a lifelong conversation in art.

CUSTOM INSTALLATIONS
For hand-applied work including murals, art pieces, and site-specific installations, Londubh Studio offers a bespoke commission process. Projects begin with a creative consultation and evolve through collaboration, material exploration, and deep site research.
