Awe | Londubh Studio’s Immersive Installation
In my quest to understand scientifically and philosophically what causes people to have such a visceral reaction to pattern and color—not only in vast cathedrals and historical wonders, but also in the immersive installations we create—I have spent some time considering awe. That search led me to Awe: “The New Science of Everyday Wonder” and How It Can Transform Your Life by Dacher Keltner. It reminds me that awe isn’t just about inspiration, it’s about unity. In moments of awe, differences soften, and what remains is the recognition that we are all part of something greater than ourselves.

WHAT WE DO
Londubh Studio creates bespoke murals and surface designs that merge fine art with architecture. Each piece is conceived as both artwork and environment. We affectionately joke that we’ll take on any surface-interior or exterior-that will stay still long enough for us to work our magic. From walls, floors, and ceilings to tubs, pools, and custom furniture, our hand-finished pieces are richly layered, bringing wonder, depth, and narrative to high-end residential, hospitality, and commercial settings.
